[TUTORIAL]

With Cyder, you can install aplications, (or unlock without wifi) on jailbreacked iphones , without internet or cydia, just put your *.deb aplications on archive Folder, and their appear for install on your iphones.-
the latest version of itunes make probs, using cyder, the files here have solved this problem

You need update itunes to last 10.5 version first!!

Hello everyone !
I remember when I first got my iPodClick here to enlarge touch 2G, I didn’t have a Wi-Fi connection. So obviously I was irritated that I couldn’t download any Cydia apps.
Well, I chanced upon Cyder at the time ! And it was great, but it was a bit rusty, had a few bugs and crashed often.
However, its been a while since Cyder 2 has released and it has none of the problems the original Cyder had. So I think it’s only fair that I should write a tutorial on how to use it.

WHAT IS CYDER 2 ??
Cyder 2 is a revamped version of Cyder, a program that lets you browse, download and install the various packages from Cydia sources to your iPodtouchClick here to enlarge/iPhone. It is extremely useful for people who don’t have Wi-Fi.

REQUIREMENTS:
You will need the following :
-Jailbroken iPod touch/iPhone with Cydia
-USB cable
-Cyder 2 [Download Link 1] [Download Link 2]
-SSH Program like WinSCP,iFunBox [OPTIONAL]

How do I use it ?
1)Plug in your iDevice via USB cable
2)Open up Cyder 2
3)You would see the following Tabs on top of the windows – Sources, Packages, Downloads, File Manager,Settings

SOURCES-Add Cydia Sources here

1)If you don’t see sources already click “Get sources from Cydia”. You can also add sources by right clicking. You can transfer the sources over to Cydia and also import installed packages via the buttons.
2) Here is a list of the default Cydia sources:
Quote:

PACKAGES-View Cydia Packages here (Via sources added)

1)You can scroll through a list of packages, or filter them by Source, Section or Modified. You can also Search for packages here.
2)When you select a package (e.g. Winterboard) you can view its details. You can see its dependencies, source, author etc.
3)Download a package by right clicking and choosing to either download only that package or the package and its dependencies. It is preferrable to always download with dependencies.

DOWNLOADS-Download Cydia Packages

1)You can see all packages that are chosen to be downloaded from the Packages section.
2)There is a thumbnail at the right of each package indicating that the package status. [Grey Box=Not Downloaded , Blue Arrow=Downloading, Yellow/Orange Box=Downloaded]
3)You can choose to download whichever packages you want here by right clicking again and choosing from the options.
4)In case you did not choose to Download with dependencies, you can even add the dependencies of a package on this screen.

FILE MANAGER-Manage Downloaded Packages

1)You will see all the packages you downloaded earlier in this tab.
2)You now have the option to either transfer them into Cydia’s Cache , Cydia’s AutoInstall or the AppCake Folder.
3)I prefer transferring to Cydia’s AutoInstall as transferring Cydia’s cache has proved a bit unreliable for me. You can also transfer them into the AppCake folder to install via AppCake
4)To install the packages, drag them into Cydia AutoInstall.
5)Close Cyder 2.
6)Reboot iDevice !
7)Respring iDevice
8)In case the package does not install still try Rebooting and Respringing once more.

SETTINGS-The Control Panel

1)You won’t need to go much into settings and I barely (NEVER) use it.
2)You can use a proxy for transferring packages, edit confirmation messages and check compatibility. (Nothing Great)
3)As I said before you do NOT need to bother about Settings.

THE “Cyder2” Folder

1)The Cyder2 Folder is what you get after you unzip the Cyder2 zip file.
2)In the event that Cyder is unable to install a package for you, you can always obtain the .deb file of that package from this folder.
3)Just navigate to Cyder2/archives for all the .deb files you have downloaded via Cyder.
4)You could now SSH into you iDevice and transfer it to AutoInstall(/var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall) or install via iFile etc.

Jump for Joy ! Kiss your iDevice !
You can now say "Muahahah Wi-Fi I dont need you !"

Thanks for reading guys !

How to - Install the Windows 8 Consumer Preview
The next big OS from Microsoft is almost ready and we’ve been anticipating its arrival for a while now. So, the final release is still sometime away, from release but the second major preview that was expected early this year is here. MWC 2012 is almost over and Microsoft has gone ahead and opened up the gates for users to download and try out the new platform.

The first open build - the Windows 8 Developer Preview was made available for download in September 2011. The Windows 8 Consumer Preview is a more refined build and is something that should be functional till early 2013. So, let’s quickly look at how to download and install the operating system on your PC. We’ll start by first explaining how to install Windows 8 on a clean system and then, also how to upgrade your Windows 7 operating system to Windows 8 without losing too many settings.

However, before starting, we suggest you backup any important data and applications just in case.

Download Windows 8 Consumer Preview
The first step is of course, to download the operating system. Microsoft has setup a download page from where you can download a tool that will check your hardware and software to see if they’re compatible with Windows 8. If you want more information on the system requirements for Windows 8, head over to one of our news story on the official availability of the preview. The tool then downloads Windows 8 for you. You also have the option to download disc images (ISO images) and burn them on a disc and install it. There are 32-bit and 64-bit builds available on this page. Microsoft has also provided a serial key that can be used to install the operating system.

Burn a copy of Windows 8 on a DVD
Once you’ve downloaded the ISO file, burn it using a disc burning software. If you don’t have one installed, you can always use the default Windows Disc Image Burner that’s part of Windows 7, for example. If you don’t have one, you can download a copy of CDBurnerXP  for free. Microsoft offers other options for installing Windows 8 off a USB stick using their USB/DVD tool. Once you’ve chosen how you want to install Windows 8, the process is pretty common and straight forward. In fact, many of the initial steps are similar to Windows 7.
Downloading Windows 8 from the Microsoft site

In the case of a clean install, the entire hard drive or at least, one partition ought to be free. Microsoft recommends 16GB of free space if you’re installing the 32-bit version and 20GB if you opt for the 64-bit version.

Setup from an existing Windows installation
If youre doing a clean install of Windows 8, skip this. But assuming that you have Windows already installed, simply insert the burnt DVD and open Windows Explorer. If you have Autorun enabled, the installation setup should start automatically. If it doesnt, double click on the setup.exe in the DVD. The installation will ask you whether youd like to update the installation before it begins. If you dont want to do this, you can click the Skip button.

Next, enter the product key provided by Microsoft on their download page. The next step is to choose which items from the existing Windows installation you’d like to keep. Choose one of the following and click Next. The user has the option to save Windows settings and personal documents or just personal documents. If you do not want to save anything, you have the option to do that too. The installation will then begin.

Install Activate iOS 5 Beta 7 Without Developer Account Registered UDID Links Full Guide Jailbreak

We’re showing in this post an exclusive guide to install and activate iOS 5 beta 7 without developer account or a registered UDID. We will use the Sn0wbreeze 2.8b7 tool to remove the UDID check of iOS 5 beta 7. We’ve tried this guide on a non-developer iPhone 4 and it worked successfully, just follow the below steps carefully and you’ll get iOS 5 beta 7 jailbroken on your iOS device.

This guide supports all devices except iPhone 3GS old bootrom and the iPad 2. You’ll of course need iOS 5 beta 7 firmware .DMG file and iTunes 10.5 beta 7. We’ll show you how to convert .DMG iOS 5 file to .IPSW and install it using iTunes 10.5 beta 7.

How to Install, Activate and Jailbreak iOS 5 Beta 7:

STEP 1: Download iOS 5 beta 7 firmware .DMG file for your iOS device and iTunes 10.5 beta 7 from the links found here.

STEP 2: Get free TransMac to convert / change .DMG file to .IPSW using the video guide here.

STEP 3: Now download Sn0wbreeze 2.8b7b from here.

STEP 4: Open Sn0wbreeze 2.8b7 then hit Browse point and point it to the extracted .IPSW iOS 5 beta 7 file you got from Step 2.

STEP 5: If everything goes okay, you’ll get your device identified as below:

STEP 6: Now click on Expert Mode then Build IPSW.

STEP 7: After building your custom IPSW file of iOS 5 beta 7, you’ll have to get your device in DFU mode. Just follow the on-screen instructions to PWN DFU mode your device.

STEP 8: After getting the black screen on your iOS device, head to the installed iTunes 10.5 beta 7 from Step 1 and open it up.

STEP 9: Before restoring your device, make a backup for your settings, contacts, photos and etc. by right clicking on your iPhone’s icon and hit Backup.

STEP 10: Now, while holding the Shift key, click on Restore and point it to the Sn0wbreeze custom IPSW you’ve already made.

STEP 11: Wait few minutes and you’ll finally get your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iOS 5 beta 7.

STEP 12: After done with iOS 5, you’ll need to backup your iOS things. Just open iTunes and restore from your old Backup.

Notes:

- In case you got Error 10, then you’re not using iTunes 10.5 beta 7.
- In case you got other Errors, then you didn’t put your device in DFU mode. Just use iREB (download here) to put your device in PWN DFU mode.

- iOS 5 beta 7 is tethered only jailbroken, so you’ll have to use iBooty (Sn0wbreeze 2.8b7 downloads it in the same directory of your custom IPSW) everytime your iPhone is rebooted to get Cydia installed again.

That’s it! You’ll be able now to enjoy jailbroken iOS 5 beta 7 on your iPhone, iPa and iPod touch. Let us know how it does with you in the comments section below.

Download And Install WhatsApp On iPod touch 4G With Complete IM Capabilities How To

WhatsApp is a vastly popular cross-platform instant messaging app, used by many to replace SMS, yeonly t it supports the iPhone by default, leaving iPad and iPod touch users out in the cold. A few months ago, we reported on a method that forces WhatsApp to run on the iPad, yet we found that the exact same method can be used to install and use WhatsApp on the iPod touch.

WhatsApp might simply not show up on the App Store on any iOS device other than the iPhone, and even when a user manages to install it, the app will simply display an error message when launched. If you’re not sure where to start, fear not, just follow our step-by-step guide.
Note: We only tested out this method on the iPod touch 4G, therefore we can’t say for sure whether it would work on other generation iPod touches or not.

1- Installing WhatsApp
Before the tweak can be applied, you must have WhatsApp installed first and your iPod touch should be jailbroken. Since WhatsApp doesn’t show up on the iPod touch’s App Store nor can it be installed through iTunes, we must install it manually. Thankfully, there’s an easy way to do it. If you have WhatsApp already installed, feel free to skip over to the "Get WhatsApp To Work" section.

You can follow our step by step guide posted here to jailbreak your iPhone.

Connect your iPod touch to your computer and follow the steps below.

Step 1: Download and install iPhone Configuration Utility, a business-oriented tool provided by Apple that allows devices to be easily customized.
  • iPhone Configuration Utility for Windows
  • iPhone Configuration Utility for Mac
Step 2: From iTunes, search for "WhatsApp Messenger"and download it (alternatively, just get it from here).

Step 3: Launch iPhone Configuration Utility, which you should have installed earlier. From the hand-hand side, select your iPod touch and navigate over to the "Applications" tab.

Step 4: Click on "Add IPA" and navigate select the WhatsApp file you downloaded earlier, which should be placed under iTunes Media > Mobile Applications. Alternatively, you can drag the WhatsApp file from iTunes to your desktop, then point iPhone Configuration Utility there.

Step 5: Once the right IPA is selected, simply scroll down and hit "Install". In a matter of seconds, WhatsApp should be installed on your iPod touch.
2- Get WhatsApp To Work

Now simply launch Cydia from your iPod touch and look up "WhatsPad". Install the first result, which should be from the BigBoss repository and its free. Simply reboot your iPod touch after the install.
You’re done! You can now launch WhatsApp, which will work the way it works on the iPhone except that you’ll need a Wi-Fi connection all the time. Remember you’ll need to enter a 3-digit activation PIN, therefore keep in mind that since it’s a one time process, so you would need a cellphone with text message receiving capabilities. Just input the phone number in WhatsApp on your iPod touch, and the 3-digit PIN will be sent to you.

Install Cydia On iOS 6

A few days ago, the iPhone DevTeam has released a dev-only version of redsn0w that can tethered jailbreak iOS 6. Being a dev-only jailbreak, the only access you’ll get to the device is through SSH or afc2. Cydia will not be installed.

If you want to install Cydia, jump over the break to see how it’s done…

NOTE: even though you will be able to install Cydia, there’s not much use to it. This jailbreak is dev-only for a reason. Most of the Cydia stuff is broken in iOS6.

NOTE: in our honest opinion most of you shouldn’t even bother with this jailbreak, but hey… doing this is so much more exciting than most of the sh… stuff the jailbreak scene had to offer us lately. So get busy. Just for fun…
HOW TO:

1. Download redsn0w and jailbreak your device. You can download redsn0w for iOS 6 here. Read the entire article twice if needed. If at some point there’s something you don’t understand, just stop there and wait for a public iOS 6 release and an official untethered jailbreak.

2. Once jailbroken, open terminal app ( on windows you can use putty or something similar ) and type:

ssh root@ip ( where ‘ip’ is your iPhone’s IP address )
alpine
wget -q -O /tmp/cyinstall.sh http://wyndrepo.googlecode.com/files/cyinstall.sh && chmod 755 /tmp/cyinstall.sh && /tmp/cyinstall.sh

3. That’s it. If you do not see cydia, power off and reboot tethered.
